Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some answers to some questions that are frequently asked of Spine Fine’s Chiropractors and allied Soft Tissue Therapists

The treatment we recommend depends on the specific concerns you bring to our clinic. Chiropractic care is as safe as other well-established manual therapies and is suitable for individuals of all ages, including newborns, seniors, pregnant women, and athletes. Once you’re feeling your best, we’ll work with you to help you maintain your health, offering ongoing Chiropractic care, massage therapy, and personalised advice on exercise and lifestyle to help you avoid falling back into old habits.

Your doctor’s approval will likely depend on the specifics of your case. We always recommend following your GP’s advice. However, you do not need a referral to explore chiropractic care. Feel free to reach out to us to discuss your situation before consulting your GP—we’re happy to help answer any questions!

Your first appointment, your consultation, typically lasts about 40 minutes. During this time, we’ll conduct a thorough assessment, followed by a 20-minute ‘report of findings’ to provide feedback and discuss your personalised care plan. Future treatment sessions are generally shorter, but if you require a longer appointment, we’re happy to accommodate. The number of sessions you need will depend on your specific condition and prognosis. While you’ll find more information on this website, don’t hesitate to give us a call for any additional questions.

However, as your body gets accustomed to the positive changes that the therapy is bringing, slight discomfort after sessions is not uncommon. Soreness quickly subsides however and brings significant benefits. Your Chiropractor will advise you on how to reduce any discomfort you may feel and can advise on a number of remedies to try at home.
